Because every computer user has at least a couple of online accounts registered, it may be really difficult to remember the login password for each of them. Setting up the same password for all the accounts is not a good idea, as it may reduce the security level and may allow hackers to have access to all the accounts just by breaking into one of them.

An efficient solution for storing and managing all your passwords for online accounts is by adding them to Keeper Desktop. This Windows program offers a protected area in which you can safely store any type of password, without the worry of being hijacked by hackers. After installing and launching the application, you first need to set up a master password which will be later used for accessing the program. You also need to enter your email address, for creating an account on the program's server. Having an account will allow you to synchronize all the passwords added to the program and you will be able to access them from any computer connected to the Internet.

After the account has been created, you just need to create a virtual folder and then add your desired passwords. For each entry, you can add a title, username, password and a corresponding website on which you will use the credentials. An unlimited number of entries can be added to the application. After the desired passwords have been defined, you are able to sync them in several ways. For example, you can have all your passwords on your smartphone with a single click. What's more, you can back up all the stored passwords and usernames in a cloud and retrieve them at any moment with one click.

Another useful feature is the possibility of exporting the list of passwords to a PDF, text or Excel file. Still, you will need to be careful who has access to these files, as you cannot encrypt them using the application. From the Settings area, you can change the color of the interface and also the language, by choosing one of the many available languages.

Pros

It allows you to store all your passwords and usernames in a secured virtual folder. Besides that, you can sync stored credentials with a smartphone. Furthermore, you can back up all the passwords into the cloud. Moreover, all the passwords and usernames can be exported to PDF, text or Excel files.

Cons

The program cannot be used without entering your email address and creating an account. With the help of Keeper Desktop you can securely store all your passwords and usernames in a safe place.
